VENTIZZ Capital Partners´ Portfolio Company ErSol Solar Energy AG highly successfully floated at Frankfurt Stock Exchange

Ventizz Capital Partners, the Düsseldorf-based private equity firm, announces the successful floatation of Erfurt-based ErSol Solar Energy AG, one of the key portfolio companies of Ventizz Capital Fund II, L.P. With the lead of Deutsche Bank as sole global coordinator and sole book runner, a total of 3.7 million ErSol shares were offered and have been more than 50 (!) - times oversubscribed. The share price was fixed at € 42, which was the upper end of the price range.
ErSol stocks started trading at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on September 30, 2005 and closed on that day at a price of € 52,70 per share. Ventizz is delighted to announce that on October 4, the shares were at € 55, which is a 30% capital gain for new shareholders. After the IPO Ventizz Capital Fund II, L.P. continues to be the majority shareholder with a 51.2 % stake in ErSol. The transaction brought the Net Asset Value of Vintage 2004 fund Ventizz II to an approximate 4.0x - multiple in comparison with the fund size at closing of € 67 Million.
